Hi
I just got the new version - some nice features thanks
I have a couple of issues - I still cant get the runtime help to work on vista - I recompiled the hlp to teeuser8.chm. Is it still looking for the obsolete hlp file? So I still cant give any help to my vista customers!
The drag marks is still useless - if you drag a mark and then zoom, print, drag - well pretty much anything the dragged mark stays (plus all later marks) where they were and are no longer associated with the series. This has always been a problem - I would really like this to work properly.
In terms of installation - If I use the install, I get a "teecomma compiled with a different version" error - So i recompiled your source code and it works fine - however I then cant run the new features demo, without recompiling that too.
I am sure these are just early troubles
Otherwise thanks - it looks good.

Hi Richard,
Yes, this was an error with the installers. We have just posted new installers at the client area to solve this issue. Could you please try using the new installers?
Thanks in advance.
The installer already includes a .chm file. It won't be called when pressing F1 from the IDE but you can use it manually.I have a couple of issues - I still cant get the runtime help to work on vista - I recompiled the hlp to teeuser8.chm. Yes, this is a known issue already listed in our defect list to be fixed for future releases. In the meantime a solution is using ResetPositions or position the marks using relative positioning to some chart element as told here. The drag marks is still useless - if you drag a mark and then zoom, print, drag - well pretty much anything the dragged mark stays (plus all later marks) where they were and are no longer associated with the series. Sorry - I reinstalled the new version with the new exe and I cannot find TeeUser8.chm - where is it? Does the chart editor now call it under vista at runtime?Quote:I have a couple of issues - I still cant get the runtime help to work on vista - I recompiled the hlp to teeuser8.chm. I am not able to install the obsolete and unsupported .hlp system on my users machine.
Thanks for any help

Hi Richard,
To obtain the help files you need to install the binary version not the source code installer. Once done that, you will find the help files somewhere like C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart 8.0.1 for Delphi 2007\Docs (Default English installation path).
BTW: Chart editor won't use that, you'll have to call it manually.
