Compilation of VCL under XE3

Any hints of when we might be getting an XE3 version for non-source code customers? We're keen to get going with XE3 and TeeChart!

Please may we have some indication (days, weeks, months...) of when TeeChart for XE3 will be available to non-source-code customers. I am currently stuck waiting for this release before proceeding with my XE3 development.

I'm afraid I can't tell you when we'll be able to publish an binary installer supporting XE3. There are some issues we are trying to resolve asap so we can finish it.

I have tried to get the 2012 source packages to install manually but I'm down to it saying I need to recompile vcl. I'm sure that's not right.
Can I get a copy of the latest installer to test please?

Hi Alan,

Are you using the latest TeeChart Sources (v2012.07)?
Are you using TeeRecompile Tool provided with the sources to build and install the package into the IDE?
Could you please tell us the exact error message?

installed source again, then ran TEErecompile again and I got no errors.
Wish Id known about teerecompile before. I only saw install.txt files and I tried to build packages myself

TeeRecompile tool simplifies the task. Everything can be done manually but it's far more complicate!

As an update, a new pre-release version for XE3 has been published: http://www.teechart.net/support/viewtop ... =3&t=13646. This build includes binary installers as well.
