3D Pie Chart boundary is very ugly on v2010

I think I don't have to attach a sample. It is obvious.

I kept v8.06 on D2007 while v2010 on D2009, just load the same form with TeeChart of 3D Pie Chart with some elevation. Be warned, it may hurt your eyes

Below was come from my real project.

Left-hand-side: D2007 IDE with TeeChart v8.06
Right-hand-side: D2009 IDE with TeeChart v2010

It is the same delphi form. The color difference was due to the 3D Gradient bug.

Regarding pen's issue, can you please attach a simple example project we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here?

BTW: Have you tried using GDI+ canvas? It enhances chart rendering and it's used by default with 2010's features demo, available at TeeChart's program group. An example using new GDI+ component in the tool palette can be found at What's New?\New Components\GDI+.

Attached please find an example. Created with Delphi 2009 + TeeChart Pro v2010.

Please also ntoe that the Pie Chart in runtime does not fully follow the settings during design-time, like 3D elevation, it changes on its own way. Please fix it also.

Adding GDI+ did not help the boundary smoothness.

We've tried your project and couldn't get a pie with the pen you got in the picture above. Are you using the TeeChart v2010 that is actually downloadable (eval or pro) or are you using a previous beta?

You are right. I've added it to the defect list to be fixed in future releases (TV52014827).
