TMarksTipTool problems when 3D is enabled

whenever 3D is enabled the TMarksTipTool does not work properly. It seems that it's mapping for hit test remains unchanged (i.e. sticks to the 2D plotting of the chart). As result it seems to be "crazy" as the user moves the mouse over the chart it would show the tooltips but the values don't acctually refer to what's under the mouse, the value showing on the tooltip is the one of the data that would be under the mouse on the 2D version.

Hi,
which TeeChart Pro version are you using ?
Could you please post an example into the steema.public.attachments newsgroup with which I can reproduce the problem "as is" here ?

Hi,
I'm using the TeeChart v. 7.0.
I don't have an example that I can post right now, this problem is occuring in several instances of the control in a large system, but in a few hours I'll develop one and post it.

Hi,
still no success. When I try to access the news://berneda.com I get a "server not found" message.
The zip file is quite small (500K) can I send it to your e-mail?

Fortunately,
one of the 25 infrastructure specialist in the company managed to solve the newsgroup access problem from my machine.
I have posted the demo application that demonstrates this problem and the ones in the following posts:
