Open Area Ends

When I add multiple 3D Area series to a Chart those that do not reach the end of the X-Axis are drawn open (the end is not drawn in).

This only happens when I do not plot the zero values but enter a null by using the function AddNullXY.

They looks very strange. Is there a way to close these areas ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, the image you have posted in public.attachments is exactly what I am seeing.

Clearly it is an error you have seem before. So what am I doing wrong ?

I am trying to show two area curves. A baseline labour at the back with an actual in front which starts after the baseline start.
I cannot show any zeros before the start of the actual or after the end.

Hi, John.

Yes, this one is a drawing bug (for null point the right edge for area series in 3D is not drawn). We'll log this to our bug list and address it in next major release.

The current version of TeeChart is version 7 yet I have found this bug in version 5.03. Didn't anone spot it before ? It seems a difficult to believe that everyone has data series which cover the full range of the x-axis.

Is there any workround ? I know that verical bars can be used but I need to extend a couple of forecast graphs from the end to give the standard s-curve display.

Yes, other customers has noticed that, but for the moment this bug bug/missing feature has not been solved/implemented.

There's not a workaround that I know of. . Maybe you could set it to 2D when the Chart is rotated and contains a null values.
