Control using TeeCommander

Hi,
I have a surface plot which can be controlled using the TeeCommander. I also have a thread which animates the plot by sequencing a series of pivots and rotations. If I use the commander to manipulate the plot (the rotation for instance) and then start the animation I find the plot can be moved around the chart area according to the position of the mouse. If I then click the control is lost. Once the animation is stopped the same behaviour occurs. Can anyone tell me how to avoid this?
