When will there be an update for the compiled version for Tokyo Update 1. From what I understand a rebuild of source with Tokyo Update 1 is required for the critical BPL fix this update has in it.

Also, will this next release also include the LiveBinding requirement for the designer with the VCL components?

The latest Teechart Pro VCL/FMX v2017.22 already supports the Rad Studio 10.2 Tokyo update 1.

Ok thanks. I had just heard the BPL's had to be recompiled with the Update 1 in order to fix the Windows Creator/BPL load issue. I don't own source so thought maybe the bpl's were still in the Pre Update 1 format.

Also, not sure if you saw my 2nd question: will this next release also include the LiveBinding requirement for the designer with the VCL components?

This is the case that refers to the LiveBinding issue and the extreme slowdown on large VCL projects when a TeeChart is referenced.

Yes, I wasn't asking about support for it - I'm asking to turn it off by default for VCL. The problem is for very large projects, the LiveBindings that is linked to TeeChart causes MASSIVE slowdown when opening a Delphi project form the first time in the IDE.

Your fix disabled the requirement for LiveBindings. You actually sent me a "non-source" version to get it going, but I had issues. I can try again, however I was just wondering if the latest release handles this now (As it was just a day or so after our conversation on this)

Hello Rhett,

We added a checkbox to remove LiveBindings support from TeeChart packages in TeeRecompile. So this option is only available for the Source Code customers for the moment but we'll send compilations to non-source code customers on demand, like you. And we'll rethink on that if the demand is big.
