Installing TCPro 7.02 with Delphi 2005 ReportBuilderPro 9.01

Hi!

I'm using now Delphi 2005 Report Builder 9.01.

I Purchased and installed lastest TeeChart.

The two packages:
Report Builder TeeChart 4.04 Components (dclRBC99.bpl)
TeeChart Pro 7 Components (dclTeePro79.bpl)

Cannot seem to both be installed at the same time.

If I try I get error:
Cannot load package 'tee90'. In contains unit 'TeeAbout,'which is also
contained in package 'Tee79'


I noticed in press release the following:
Version 9.01 - 12/14/2004

- Added TeeChart 7.01 support for Delphi 7


Any help on how to make this work would be appreciated.

Yes, both components can be installed at the same time but with some changes. The error you get is because your Report Builder version is still referencing TeeChart v4 Standard for Delphi 2005 Win32 (version shipped with D2005) while the TeeChart packages you have installed are the TeeChart Pro v7 ones.

To solve your problem you should check with Digital Metaphors if they already have Delphi 2005 + TeeChart v7 installer or in case you have Report Builder sources, contact Digital Metaphors support asking what are the necessary steps to recompile RB with TC 7.

The correct installing order is:
1) Uninstall old version (TeeChart and Report Builder)
2) Install TeeChart v7
3) Install RB which supports TeeChart v7.
