Is there a simple example posted of how to explort the contents of a chart to PDF format. I want to plot a simple scale diagranm of XY points and some aerial footprint vectors.

Yes, there's an example of PDF exporting at the TeeChart features demo available at the TeeChart program group.

You should run it and browse "All Features\ Welcome\ Exporting\ Chart Picture\ Adobe Acrobat PDF". Those examples included full sources.
