Points outside zoom area appear on rotate in 3D chart

Hello,
I do have the following problem:
I'm using TPoint3DSeries to display 3-dimensional data points. Now when the chart is zoomed (i.e. bottom axis minimum value is choosen such that the leftmost value is no longer displayed) and the chart is rotated in some angles some points outside the zoom area are visible again. If i turn on "base line" I can see the line does not go to the ground for that points.
Is this a bug in TeeChart or am I missing a setting?
I'm using TeeChart Pro 8.04 in C++Builder 2007 Pro.
TIA
Hans
