Delphi .Net Initialization problem

Hello,

I use Delphi .NET and TeeChart Pro v2 (Build: 2.0.2586.24038).
During the initialization of the TChart object ( Self.TChart1 := Steema.TeeChart.TChart.Create; ) I get the exception "... System.MethodAccessException with the message “the attempt to access the method failed."

Can someone help me?

It works fine for me here using the same TeeChart version as you and BDS 2006 Version 10.0.2288.42451 Update 2 with Delphi for .NET WinForms applications.

We have run several tests in different machines and works fine here using latest maintenance release as well. Are you sure you have TeeChart for .NET v2 license properly installed on your machine? For more information about that please read Tutorial 17 - Designtime, Runtime and License Requirements. You'll find the tutorials at TeeChart's program group. It may also help you using TeeRegv2 tool available at the client download area.

i've read the capture 17. I can not solve the problem.
I use BDS 2006 Version 10.0.2558.35231 Update 2. I've run the TeeRegv2 tool. The "Private key installation" and "Public key installation" are correct.
The teechart.dll build number is 24038 and the revision is 2586.

Have you further solutions?

the issue happen in both!
We use the german Windows Edition and german Borland Developer Studio (Architect) Edition.
We haven't install Microsoft Visual Studio. This had produced install messages in the modul "ToolBoxEditor2003.exe".

Thanks for the information. We are using English BDS and Windows versions. We will try to arrange an environment as similar as possible to yours and run some tests there. We will get back to you when we haver further news.

After running some more tests, the .exe you included with your project runs fine in a machine with no TeeChart license installed. That would discount a problem with the BDS or the TeeChart licensing mechanism and might point to some other software interrupting the license calls. Is it possible your machines are installed with some security software? Have you tried executing your .exe itself, I mean, not running the project directly from Delphi 2006?
