Bug in gradient?

I installed version 1.1.1544.23908 of TeeChart .net and I got this problem:
any gradient I choose from the Edit panel is visible on the designer but is not written in any line code in " Windows Form Designer generated code ". When i compile, the gradient disappear and the program runs as this property has never been set.
This seems to happen for every setting of 'chart' and not for the the series setting.
I have to set the gradient properties in the form load event.

Yes, I've observed this behaviour as well and it's mighty irritating!
