Marks is not working properly.

Post by VH1 » Mon Jan 23, 2006 2:16 pm

1.1.2179.21092

1/
On any series, make the marks visible and then rotate the angle.

The mark value is no longer inside the angled mark box.

2/
Round frame for marks does not work when the marks are on an angle.

Regards,

Vaughan

Hi Vaughan,

1) I haven't been able to reproduce the problem here using the built you mentioned. Could you please send us the detailed instructions to reproduce it or an example we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here?

You can post your files at news://www.steema.net/steema.public.attachments newsgroup.

2) I've added your request to our wish-list to be implemented for future releases.

I think I may have made that ambiguous!

Please do the following,

In the designer...

Add a teechart to a form
Add a tower series
Sample values should be already present
Go to Series, Marks, Style tab.
Make the marks visible
Make the angle of the marks > 0

Regards,
Vaughan

As for the the round edges of marks...

They are never round unless you have the angle of the marks set to 0.

Vaughan

Thanks for the information. Now I've been able to reproduce what you reported. I've added the issue to our defect list to be fixed for future releases.

Yes, that's the behaviour I could see.

Hi VH1,

This was fixed in TeeChart for .NET v2. I've applied the same change in v1 sources.
As for the the round edges of marks...

This (TF02011197) hasn't been fixed yet.
