How to get corresponding y value of mouse x position?

Hello,

i have tried a little bit with the CalcXYZ methods of the axes to get y value of the current mouse x position, but i have not found any solution. How it is possible to get the y value of an specific x value without using any tools like nearestpoint or cursor? For better understanding i have attached a small picture.
