Serialization Error in MS2008

I saw that this issue was posted about a year ago but no resolution.

I gave up on TChart with this new project due to issues with chinese characters and went to another graphing library. However the new library is causing me fits so I am trying to go back to TChart.

I downloaded the latest version of TChart.NET for MS2008 and the chinese characters seem to be working for me. I started a new Windows Form project and put a TChart control on it to verify some simple stuff. I was adjusting the margins when the following error showed up (over and over):

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
