Installing new version of TeeChart

I had your last version (from July 2009) installed on my computer. Now I am trying to upgrade to the Oct 15 version. Every time I am running the installation (I even tried removing/uninstalling TeeChart completely from my computer) at the end of the process I am getting 3 windows errors, telling me that some of the your utilities (one of them being TeeGoofer Help) do not work anymore. After that I am told that installation was successful, but when I look at the TeeChart.dll version it is still the one from July (3.5.3498.27368) not the one I am trying to install!

I need to be able to install it today...

Please you could talk us what say messege errors? You could try to install manually components of TeeChart.Net last version?

Ok, first it appears that the file I can download from your site is exactly the same binary, I've downloaded in July.
Second, when I am trying to install it at the end I am getting the following Windows-generated messages:
ToolBoxEditor2008 has stopped working
TeeGofer Help 2 Registration Utility has stopped working - 2 times

After these messages I get the screen saying that installation was successful and the wrong version of TeeChart is installed on my computer (I did try to install on a clean box and still get the old version).

Have you tried downloading TeeChartNET3UpdateBuild.exe from 15th October? If the installer fails to add the components to the toolbox you can install them manually as described here.

I do have my TeeChart in the tool bar. The problem is to get the latest version to install. I did run the UpdateBuild, but it still shows the old version/build number in the about box. Any ideas?

What I found, after running the Update Build, I have a new folder with 3 sub-folders for different Framework versions (by the way, the installer asks me where I want it to be installed, but completely ignores my selection and installs it in the folder you think is better. So... it took me a few days to find it... And during this time I actually had better things to do. So, please, make your installer work!) ... Well, I can get the dll from there, but how do I get it to actually install the right version on my computer?

Hi UserLS,

In that case it may be a problem with TeeChart's AssemblyFolders not being updated. You could try removing them as described here.
