Visual Studio 2008
Visual Studio 2008
I have upgraded from MS Visual Studio 2005 to Visual Studio 2008. Does anyone know of a way I can get the TeeChart to appear in the Toolbox for Visual Studio 2008? It doesn't happen automatically, even with a re-install.

Hi gs,
TeeChart for .NET v3 already includes a specific installer for Visual Studio 2008. If you are using an earlier version then you could use Visual Studio 2005 installer and manually add the assemblies to the toolbox.
Once you have installed it go to the ToolBox, right-click on it, create a new tab for TeeChart for .NET ("Add Tab"), then right-click on the new empty tab, select "Choose Items" and browse for TeeChart.dll.

Re: Visual Studio 2008
I tried that twice but Visual Studio just shuts down when I click on "Choose Items".
Running VS 2008 SP1.
Perhaps I need to uninstall VS and re-install.
Thanks,
Joseph

Re: Visual Studio 2008
Hello Joseph,
This is a known Visual Studio 2008 defect as I discussed in this thread with other clients. At mentioned thread I also posted a solution suggestion another client sent. Could you please check if this solution works fine for you?
Thanks in advance.
