Hello,
I'm having a problem installing TeeChart .NET 2010 for VS 2010. I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, Visual Studio 2010 Express (x86), and I tried to install TeeChartNET2010VSNET2010_4.0.2011.02083.
I had previously installed the evaluation version that was working, which I uninstalled before installing the licensed version. I also have TeeChart VCL 2010 on the same machine.
-During the installation, I got an error message that said "ToolBoxEditor2010 has stopped working". I continued and got a message that said installation was successful.
-I started VS and couldn't get the TeeChart controls to appear in the toolbox.
-I then tried to run TeeRegV2010, but got an error message that said "Error setting registry value".
What else do I need to do?

Hi Sandra,
My problem was that when I selected "Choose Toolbox Items" no Steema components showed up in the list of available items. I manually added TeeChart.Client.dll, and now it seems to work. Was this correct?

Actually, it's still not working, it seems that TeeChart wasn't installed in VS. If I manually add TeeChart.dll or TeeChart.Client.dll to the toolbox, I can create a chart in a form, but it isn't fully functional. For example I can't access the chart editor. TeeChart doesn't appear as an installed extension in VS extention manager.

I was able to get TeeChart working fully. I'm not sure what the problem was but here's what I did in case this is helpful:
-Uninstalled the licensed version and did a system restore to the state before the installation.
-Manually deleted all files I could find that were associated with the Evaluation version (the uninstaller left many of the Eval version files on my machine).
-Re-installed the licensed version of TeeChart.
-Ran Visual Studio, went to Choose Toolbox Items -> Browse, and selected TeeChart.dll
-Rebooted my machine. The right-click menu items in the form designer ( eg "About Steema TeeChart", "Edit", etc) were not visible until I rebooted.
-Et voila, it worked!
This occurred with VS 2010 Express - Visual C++.
Cheers.
