TeeChart Migration

I currently have a VisualStudio 2010 C# project that is using some TeeChart V3 charts with several Line Series each. It all works fine. We have upgraded to TeeChart 2012 and I would like to recompile this project with the new TeeChart. I did not uninstall V3 so the project continues to load, compile and run fine as it did before but I could not see the new TeeChart components in the tool box even though I installed them on a new tab. I changed the Dot Net assembly in the project from 2 to 4 and deleted the TChart reference. I then installed the new Tchart (2012) reference. The new Teehart components are now visibleThe program compiles, but every Series is missing. I just get blank charts. Is there something I missed in the process? It will be very tedious and time consuming to re-add the many series that I had already installed. I still have the old code so I can easily revert back to the TeeChart V3 version, but I would like to bring all of my projects up to the 2012 version.

Seems like it all of a sudden started working. Unfortunately I am not 100% sure of the procedure that finally worked.
