Open chart editor. Select title (it is broken for other objects as well). Select Format page, click on the Pattern button and select an image. So far so good. Now close pattern editor and check the Round Frame checkbox... Your frame is transparent now!

Hi UserLS,
Yes, you are right. I've added this to the wish list to be fixed in future releases (TF02014517).

You mean version 3 or 4? We are on version 3 and I have a whole list of bugs reported to you guys. As of today I have no idea if those bugs are going to be fixed in the v3 or not. From my point of view, this makes my application not releasable at all, so I need to know your thoughts on this issue and the other ones.

Hello,
We normally implement new features and bug fixes in the current releases (in this case v2009). Whether or not a bugfix is implemented in a previous version depends on different factors, one of which is customer demand. Some bugs are still sourced and fixed in v3 as they do not occur in v2009. There have been four maintenance releases for version 3 in the six months since v2009 release, containing 52 individual fix items and 6 new features, many of the fixed items relate to issues you have reported. The last maintenance release was on the 15th of October. We consider that version 3 maintenance remains very much alive.
We will continue to resolve problems in version 3. For the items I see outstanding between us, some affect codeable functionality and some are interface issues, such as inconsistencies with Editor Series Brush colour fill definitions for some Series Types. They will be dealt with in version 3. We will continue to assign our own priority levels unless feedback guides us otherwise.
Regards,
Marc Meumann
