Hi

I was doing many tests with charts and used your evaluation install first. Completed my tests and decided to purchase. So now I have a the pro VS2008 version of teeChart which i installed today. The application runs perfect when I run from Visual Studio however when I publish it the application bombs out. I'm suspecting that there are some Evaluation items still left over that is making this fault occur. When I create a new application with teechart it publishes perfectly. Also when I delete TeeChart from my application that bombs out then I can publish this application fine.
Please let me know if I'm going to have to restart this application or let me know what items I need to get rid of /add?

Hi Waz,

First of all we strongly recommend to uninstall the evaluation version from your machine before installing the registered version to avoid similar problems. Also you should check that your projects reference to TeeChart.dll has been updated to the registered version and that they include licenses.licx as described in tutorial 17.

For detailed information no how a TeeChart design-time license should be setup at your machine please read this thread.

If problems persist don't hesitate to let us know indicating the exact error message you get and when does this occur.

In reply I did uninstall the teechart evaluation first before installing the pro. Also I did change the reference for the teechart dll as my app was still looking at the eval dll, but this did not help. I'll check the license. I will continue on Monday and let you know how it goes.

What is the exact error message you get when you run your application? Are you sure your designtime license is installed correctly as Narcís suggested?
