I have been to run the TeeReg V2 file to get TeeChart to work in VisualStudio on my Vista 64 bit machine. When i push the check licence button it tells me that the keys are correct, but when i try to install i get "Error setting registry value.". Can anyone help me solve this problem?
thank you

Hi Øyvind,
If after installing you use TeeRegv2 and it says the keys are installed correctly then I'd assume the license is installed correctly in the x64 machine. Does TeeChart work fine after that? Can you compile and run the example projects included with the installation?
Thanks in advance.

TeeChart doesn't work in VisualStudio, I get the exception:
Error 1 Exception occurred creating type 'Steema.TeeChart.TChart, TeeChart, Version=2.0.2040.15119, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9c8126276c77bdb7' System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Where can I find the example projects?

Hi Øyvind,
At "C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart for .NET v2\Examples". There's an "Examples" shortcut at TeeChart's program group.

Hello Narcís,
i've run into the same problem using Window 7 x64, Visual Studio 2005 and TeeChart .net v2.
I tried to run the example project shipped with TeeChart (BTW the sample uses TeeChart 2003 so I had to change it to the 2005 version):
The project started, but no charts are displayed. Instead Visual Studio's Immediate Windows show these error messages:
A first chance exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in TeeChart.dll
A first chance exception of type 'System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException' occurred in mscorlib.dll
Any idea how to fix this problem?
Thank you
Marcus

Hello Narcís,
I think I've solved the problem. Even if TeeReg V2 reports that the keys are installed correctly, they aren't.
TeeReg V2 will run properly and install the keys if you run it "as administrator", although you are logged in with an admin account.
