Hi,

We have been using your teechart dlls(licensed versions).

These are the dlls we have been using.
32bit - 4.0.2010.27961
64 bit- 4.0.0.15036

These dlls have been downloaded from this site using the license numbers given to us.

Of late, we have been getting the following error message.

The TeeChart Evaluation version has expired.
Please see http://www.steema.com for a current release

Could you help us with this issue?

Thanks,
Sreekumar Rajan

In it you can 4 more links as explain how you can solve the problems are you find when installs TeeChart.Net. Please, do installation recommendations and check again if your problem still appears.

Hi Sandra,
I found a mention of 'Tutorial 17 - Designtime, Runtime and License Requirements' in the links that you gave me. However, I was not able to find that among the tutorials.
Could you share the link?

Thanks,
Sreekumar

Hi Sreekumar,

Tutorials are available at TeeChart's program group at Start Menu -> All Programs -> Steema Tee for .NET 2010. If reading this tutorial doesn't help I recommend you to check all the steps I posted here. Thanks in advance.

Hi Narcis,

I have placed the teechart dll in the same folder as the executable file of my application.

The error message comes during the following use case.

1.When I do the installation of the application and run it for the first time as a non-admin user.If I click OK on the message , it doesn't appear again for the successive runs.If I don't click OK, it comes for the next run also as a non admin user.

However if I run the application as an admin user, the message never appears.Further, If I run the application as an admin user once, I can restart and run the application again as a non-admin user without getting the error.

Any ideas as to why this could be happening would be really valuable.

Thanks and warm regards,
Sreekumar

Hi Sreekumar,

If you are getting this error message it indicates one of those two things (or both):

1. Your project is referencing a wrong TeeChart assembly.
2. Your machine doesn't have the developer license correctly installed.

To clear this out I strongly recommend you to check all I explained here.

Thanks in advance.
