Licencing Question

Hi there, a simple licencing question for you.

Our small team of developers each has a licence and installation of TeeChart .NET v2010.

As we are now nearing the end of our current project that is utilising TeeChart, we wish to create a Virtual Machine as a Build Machine that is configured to release our software in a consistent manner (avoiding individual developer configurations and also allowing us to support this release in 5 years time when we all have new machines etc).

I remember previously (TeeChart 7.0.8) we were allowed to install an existing TeeChart licence on our build machine.

But reading the licence that came with TeeChart .NET v2010 it seems like a grey area:
one Developer may install two seats not to be used concurrently, performing a maximum of two installs of the SOFTWARE for use in designing, testing and creating Developed Software on two single computers with a single set of input devices
This is how our VM would be working. Start up VM, remote desktop in from our desktops which have an individual TeeChart licence already.

but:
you may not install or use the SOFTWARE on a computer that is a network server or a computer at which the SOFTWARE is used by more than one Developer
The computer would be accessed over the network by multiple developers (not at the same time) however each developer already has a TeeChart licence.

Any clarification would be helpful.

Cheers
Rod

Hi Rod,

Providing the machine is used for builds only and no coding takes place at the machine, a TeeChart license may be installed in the machine using the TeeRegister utility, without the requirement for a TeeChart Developer License.
