Hi,

I am using,

TeeChart .NET Version 1.1.1879.21176.

Upon setting the zoom rectangle Pattern color to WHITE, it defaults to using BLACK as its background color.

Please follow the following steps to re-create:

1/ Add a Teechart to a form using the designer. (Dont change any defaults)
2/ Add a Commander toolbar and set the Chart property to the one just placed on the form.
3/ Run the application.
4/ Add a new series to the Teechart using the TeeCahrt Editor.
5/ Test zoom rectangle - the zoom rectangle background color is transparent.
6/ Starting from the Chart tab, navigate to the General tab.
7/ Inside the Zoom tab, press the "Pattern..." button.
8/ Select a SOLID color to something other than WHITE.
9/ Test zoom rectangle - the zoom rectangle background color changes as expected.
10/ Now repeat steps 6-9 but change the color back to WHITE.
11/ Test zoom rectangle - the zoom rectangle background color is always BLACK.

Additionally, the zooming rectangle background color changes to BLACK after a chart has been exported as a .ten file.

Please advise how I can get the zoomng rectangle background color to the default transparent?

Thanks

Ok, after much frustration...

The only way I can get the rectangle back to transparent is to load the .ten file straight after saving, very tedious!!!

1.1.2117.41652

Have tested this issue again and it is still present in the new update.

Will this be fixed in the future?

Thanks,

Vaughan

Hi Vaughan,

Yes, we have been able to reproduce it and we are investigating if we can find a solution for it. I'll get back to you if I have some news.

An news on this issue yet please, as the workaround is tedious and the loading of a template file creates more problems, which I will raise as a seperate issue.

Hi Vaughan,

We did some investigation on that and didn't found an easy solution. This issue is already on our defect list to be further investigated and fixed for next releases..
