Hi,

When I was installing TeeChart for .NET v2, I obtained a toolboxeditor error at the end of the installation.

I then tried to manually update my Visual Studio 2005 toolbox with the toolboxeditor (the command I used is: ToolBoxEditor2005 "TeeChart.dll" "C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart for .NET v2" 1 0) but received the following error message:
ToolBoxEditor2005.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
The debugger shows the following message:
An unhandled exception ('System.IO.IOException') occurred in ToolBoxEditor2005.exe [3784].
I have previously installed the TeeChart for .NET v2 Evaluation version, but have since uninstalled it. My Visual Studio 2005 toolbox still shows the evaluation webchart icon. I then remove the toolbox, reinstall the TeeChart for .NET v2 and again received the ToolBoxEditor error message. This time, the debugger shows the same error message but with [992] and [1372]. The error message appeared twice towards the end of the installation.

Please advise on how I can update my Visual Studio 2005 toolbox. Thank you.

Hi pw,

Are you using the specific installer for Visual Studio .NET 2005? Have you tried manually installing the TeeChart assembly into the ToolBox by clicking it using right mouse button, selecting "Choose Items..." and browse for TeeChart.dll?

Yes, I think was using the correct installer. After manually adding the TeeChart.dll into my Visual Studio 2005, it seems to work.
