Zooming bug?

The "inverse video" feature on the zooming function looks good, and I have tried to enable it by code. But no matter what I code and where I code it I have to visit the tchart editor and the subject tab page before it works. The strange thing is: I only have to visit the tab page to make it work.

Hi BerntR,
Would you be so kind to send us an example we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here? You can post your files at news://
www.steema.net/steema.public.attachments newsgroup.
Thanks in advance.

It's done.
I made a "special" program for you. Just the form with a chart.
Try the zoom. The inverse video doesn't work.
Double click the chart
Visit general -> pattern. Just press OK.
Now the inverse video works.
Thanks,

Hi BerntR,
Thanks for the example. Running it, openning the editor, going to the Series tab, select DataSource tab and click on Apply button for adding some random values to the series. Closing the editor and zooming the chart makes it with animation zoom feature.
Is that what you meant?

It should be a small series there on startup.
Use the zoom. There's no inverse video. Even though it is enabled by design.
Then - just visit the "General" tab in the editor before exit. Try the zoom again. Now it has inverse video.
Unfortunately, the editor is activated on single click instead of double click in my sample app, but you still should be able to see this: That a designtime enabled reverse video (or do you prefer to call it a zoom brush) doesn't start working before the user has visited the "General" tab.

Hi BerntR,
Ok, with the "zoom brush" comment I understood what the exact problem is and could reproduce it here.
I've added the bug to our defect list (TF02011755) to be fixed for future releases.
