Histogram or bar bin size

Hi,

I must make a histogram or bar chart (which ever is easiest to work with for this task) that has the bin size predefined on the X axis. The bins on the X axis could for instance be 0-10, 10-20, 20-30 etc. There would be a bar which represents the number of instances falling between 0-10 etc. I have searched for ways to set the bar bin size, but haven't found a good solution. Can someone help me, please?

regards,
Dorte

Hi Dorte,

We have implemented this feature for TeeChart for .NET v3. We expect to have a beta version ready today or tomorrow morning. I have also sent you a prototype project I made in Delphi, you can look at the source code to achieve the same using TeeChart for .NET.

Hi,

Please help me find the page where I can download v3 beta for .NET. When I follow the customer download links for .NET, I end up on a page for TeeChart AX (http://www.steema.com/cgi-bin/teegetR.cgi). At this page there is no v3 BETA for .NET released in January 2007.

What am I doing wrong?

Regards,
Dorte

Hi Dorte,

It's most likely you are using the wrong keys to log into the client area. When purchasing a license of TeeChart for .NET v2 we also send a free TeeChart Pro v6 ActiveX license, I guess you are using the ActiveX license keys instead of the .NET license.

If you can't find your TeeChart for .NET v2 licensing information please contact our Sales Dept. at sales@steema.com.

The v3 beta release expires on 1st of April - when will the final release 3 be available?

Hi Dorte,

We don't have a release date fixed yet but we expect it to be ready before the beta version expires. Please be aware at these forums for further news.

Also please bear in mind that TeeChart for .NET v3 BETA is not intended for production use.
