I am using the previous version of TeeChart (from 11th July). It is present as a component in some windows forms. Is there information available anywhere on how to upgrade? Is it simply a matter of unistalling the previous version and installing the new one?

Yes, you should just uninstall existing version and install the new version. Your project references to TeeChart should be automatically updated.
