Hi Luke,
Code below works fine for me here using latest TeeChart for .NET v3 release available at the client area.
Code: Select all
Steema.TeeChart.Styles.Area serie = new Steema.TeeChart.Styles.Area(tChart1.Chart);
serie.UseOrigin = true;
serie.Origin = 0.0;
serie.AreaLines.Visible = false;
serie.LinePen.Style = System.Drawing.Drawing2D.DashStyle.Solid;
serie.Gradient.Visible = true;
serie.Gradient.StartColor = Color.SkyBlue;
serie.Gradient.EndColor = Color.Orange;
serie.Gradient.Direction = System.Drawing.Drawing2D.LinearGradientMode.Vertical;
serie.FillSampleValues();
Please notice that with most recent versions a couple of issues related with Area series lines have been fixed as you can see in the
release notes:
3rd November 2008 release (Build 3.5.3225.32183/4/5):
15) [TF02013411]
Area Series' LinePen not being drawn
when Stairs set to true. Fixed.
12th August 2008 release (Build 3.5.3146.24804/5/6):
23) [TF02013275]
With Area Series' AreaLines.Visible
= false, "hollow" lines could be
seen when using Aspect.SmoothingMode
AntiAlias or BestQuality. Fixed.
Which TeeChart version are you using?
Thanks in advance.

I updated to same version, but it seems when Transparency is set to 25 you get vertical lines.

Hi Luke,
Yes, that's right. I've added the issue (TF02013617) to the list to be fixed.
