This is just an observation. Both horizontal and vertical bars have extra setting for gradient (which I find confusing, since the same property is available from the pattern editor and now you make me believe, I am setting up something else), but from the other hand there is this nice checkbox for "relative" gradient. I just love it and the only question I have, why not move it inside the other gradient editor and make it available for other series? Both area series and line series could use it!
