Hi,

Could you clarify whether or not a version of the TChart Editor is available for use in ASP.NET WebForms? I saw (an old) reference to a request for such functionality in the wish list forum and a response that said there were plans to, but nowhere where it says it has since been implemented.

If not I was wondering if there were still any plans to? It would be great to be able to serialize all the settings for example so that you could store them (in a database for example) and then restore them between visits. Save having to develop custom functionality to achieve various bits and pieces.

Thanks,

Norman

PS Still think its a great tool

Hi Norman,

No, chart editor is not available for ASP.NET applications for now. At the present moment you can export and import TeeChart template files at runtime as explained in Tutorial 12 - Exporting and Importing Charts. Tutorials can be found at TeeChart's program group.

Hi,

Yes, I saw that but you still need to provide some way of changing aspects of the chart before saving a template and importing it again and if you want the end user to do this then....

Thanks though
