TeeChart v8 VCL Beta Released

TeeChart Standard and TeeChart Pro v8 VCL beta has been released.
Expected release date will be aproximately at the end of the year.

There are quite many changes and additions in this new v8 version.
We appreciate your help in providing us with feedback about the new features, bug fixing and ideas.

If you wish to participate as a beta-tester please leave a response here about the level of participation you'd like to apply to v8 beta.

We'll accept candidates that will be actively contributing testing help via our private beta newsgroups.

I'd enjoy beta testing v8. I'm a current v7 source code customer and have used TChartPro for many years. I use it frequently in my projects which tend to be numeric/engineering apps - data visualization, etc. I use mainly LineSeries and many of the tools. Environment is BDS2006, mostly the C++Builder side.

Hi David,

I'd like to beta version 8. I use delphi 2005 primarily. I've been using TChart Pro for quite some time and do a lot of chart manipulation programatically. I've used TChart Pro in apps I've built for different commercial companies. These apps include network management software, metrics management software, emergency services software as well as others.

I am user of TeeChart beginning from version 4 to 6 and was beta tester of versions 6 and 7.
Can I take part in beta tests of future version 8?
I am working with the CBuilder 6 & 10

I made the first attempt to install v8 for my CB6 and got the answer from the Teerecompile
......

After that I tried to recompile manually, could do this, but couldn't registrate DclTeePro8C6 with the error message:
A class named TTeeSeriesSource file already exists

I'm a long time user of Teechart. I use it extensively in my applications. I was also a beta tester for version 7. I would be very interested to test the newest release and provide some feedback.

Hi,
I would be interested in testing TeChart 8. I've been using it since whatever version was shipped with Delphi 1. Although I can't remember if tchart was already part of Delphi 1.
