BUG: custom axis position (Release 2.0.2456.16162)

Post by Anton Rau » Fri Sep 29, 2006 3:27 pm

There is even no need for test source code. Just start provided Feature Demo application and check "Scrolling multiple axis" or "Permanent custom axis" demos. You will see that position of the custom left axis will be shifted. It was ok in previous release version.

I had other problems before like exceptions during calling Chart Editor, broken design-time serialization of the chart properties and licensing problems after updating. Such bugs usually were not presented in previous versions (except always presented licensing conflict) and they are not related to the new features which were implemented. So I wonder if you ever test your software before releasing. I hope we should not wait another 5 month of beta testing till next "fixed" release appears.

And now my main question: where I can download previous stable release because latest version 2.0.2456.16162 just broke all the functionality of my software?

Yes, this is certainly a bug which I've added to our defect list (TF02011783) to be fixed for future releases. It is most likely to have been introduce by some precision changes we added in the latest release as told in this topic.

Of course we test our software, however the issue reported above unfortunatelly scape from our attention. Anyway, we expect to have a new stable release ready in 5 working days, so would you be so kind to describe those other issues so that we can reproduce them and, if necessary, fix them?

As I told you, please let us know which are those problems ans we will try to fix them for a new stable release very soon.

Thanks for your collaboration.
