Compiling Projects w. TChart Components wo. TChart install

Hi again,

3 Question for today Hopefully there is help again.

The project I'm working on, has at least 3 developer's.
My problem here is: I'm the only one developing with TChart,
thats why I'm the only one with an TChart installation.
How could it be done, that the project can be compiled
by the users, too.
I thought about dll's or package, but did not found a solution yet.

The Development License means that you may perform a single install of
the SOFTWARE for use in designing, testing and creating Developed Software
on a single computer with a single set of input devices, restricting the
use of such computer to one concurrent Developer.

That is what I am doing. I am the only one who develops
with TChart, but there are other parts of the project, where
they don't need TChart. They just need the TChart packages
to compile the project, when we merge my part with the others.
One solution would be to install it on the other PC's, but that
would be against the license. I have no other idea for a solution...

Do you now understand my problem?

Hello Max,

Installation of TeeChart on a department build-only machine is acceptable though any subsequent coding with the TeeChart API at those machines will require a Developer License.

Ah, good news. Is there a seperate Installation file?
Or do I install the normal way?

Hi Max,

You can use the installer but please remove the TeeChart palette from the IDE to avoid accidental use.
