Saving Webchart Picture in IE7

Hi,

We have an asp.net reporting application using TeeChart .Net version 2.0.2652.22325.

The tempchart is set to session and all works fine until you right-click the chart image using IE7 and select "Save Picture As..." where an error message is displayed "Could not complete the operation due to error 800700de". IE6 and firefox save the picture as expected.

I can reproduce the same effect on the steema online demo.

Using tempchart=file seems to solve the issue but in our case this is not always possible in certain hosting environments.

Has anybody else experienced this problem or know of any workarounds?

Yes, this is a known issue (TF02011865) already listed on our defect list to be investigated and fixed for future releases.

Hi carlb,

This has already been fixed in TeeChart for .NET v3 as announced here.

We also plan to include the fix in TeeChart for .NET v2.
