Steema Software runtime license for group development enviro

Hi,

We have Tee Chart license (both source code and Pro v3). Since we are a group of developers, we intend to build a Chart component dll by one developer and other developers simply load this dll and feed in data without being able to access Tee Chart functionality. However, all the developers except the one has Tee Chart installed are able to run the final app and show a chart because of the license issue. I have seen other people posted similar question but I still don't see a clear answer for the issue. Would you please advise us how to address it?

Hi Mike,

Are you building your DLL with Teechart's licenses.licx file compiled as an embedded resource as described here?

If you are loading the DLL dynamically then this case may apply.
