TeeChart in ASP.NET AJAX ModalPopupExtender

Have you guys tested steema charts inside a ASP.NET AJAX ModalPopupExtender?

I have an app that uses a good bit of the AS.NET AJAX toolkit, including the tab control and ModalPopupExtender.
One tab in particular includes a steema bar chart in which I'm using series.click to drill down. The drilll down chart uses ModalPopupExtender and looks great. However, it seems like THAT chart doesn't respond to series clicks...i want to drill down further with multpile ModalPopups displaying at the same time.

Any advice?

Could you please send us a simple example project we can run "as-is" to reproduce the problem here?

Hi,

I've uploaded a zip file called from_steema.zip which has an example web site project for you to look at. VS 2005 - .net 2.0 teechart.net 3.latest and ASP.NET AJAX toolkit.

It was kind of quickly slapped together, but you should be able to see that
1) you can click on a series in the scatter chart
2) this brings up a modal dialog with a bar chart
3) clicking on a series in the bar chart goes nowhere.

Hello Rich,

Thanks for sending in the example. We've found the cause of why the Series drill-down click wasn't being picked up correctly in ModalPopupExtender and have resolved the issue for inclusion in the next maintenance release.

Hi Rich,

I don't think a date has been fixet yet. However, considering last maintenance release was published last week you may expect the next maintenance release to be out in one month approximately.

Hi Narcís,

I'm expieriencing other problems with displaying bar charts in a modalDailogExtender...like, sometimes the chart displays and sometimes I just get that annoying red 'X' - no chart. It almost seems to be random. Will the fix you have in the works address this as well?
