when teechart exports to an image, the background is black.

Hi experts,

My TeeChart is very simple 2D chart. Panel background pattern is solid.
When I export it to bmp, jpg or gif, the picture is in black. Even I set background to white, it is still black. If I export it to emf format, it is perfect.
How can I make other format like emf.

BTW, if I set the background to Gradient, it is perfect also.

My TeeChart version is Steema TeeChart for .NET v3.
I use VS 2008 for Winform.

Hi All,

It is fixed.

The reason is really weird.

Originally, I used trial version before the license was shipped to me.
When I got the license, registered it, and this problem comes.

My solution is:

1 Remove the Old TeeChart control.
2 Add a new TeeChart control with the same setting.

That is it.

I am still confused of how it happens, but whatever it is fixed.
If anybody can explain me why, you are welcome!

Hi Puzzlefun,

I'm glad to hear you found a solution to the problem.

Most likely you were using an old version of TeeChart with this bug. As you can see in the release notes some issues on this field have been fixed recently.
