Unresolved Export to PDF Feature Bugs

Increasing number of our customers are asking for flawless export to PDF. We currently have many issues already reported relating to export to PDF. The list of issues are:

1. Subchart won't be exported [TF02014353],
2. Font error [TF02012868],
3. Exporting multiple charts to PDF [TF02012766])
4. Transparancy of charts in PDF as discussed here at http://www.teechart.net/support/viewtop ... pdf#p38091

1 and 4 are serious problems for us and there is growing frustration among our customers. We are using the most current TChart V3.5 (30 Jul 09) version and still experiencing these issues.

Early and faster resolution of these issues will help us a lot and will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, installing PDFCreator is not really a solution as it is a daunting task to get approval from respective IT departments.

I just posted a reply regarding those issues here.

This is not a bug report but a feature request on our wish-list to be considered for inclusion in future releases.

4. Transparancy of charts in PDF as discussed here at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9302&hilit=+pdf#p38091

This is TF02013896 and is also an enhancement/feature request on the wish-list to be considered for inclusion in new releases as currently PDF export may not be supporting transparency.

Bugs you mentioned are already high priority items on the bug list to be fixed so, as I recommended in the thread I pointed you, please be aware to new release announcements. Regarding the feature requests, please notice that TeeChart for .NET 2009 (v4) is the latest version available so it is most unlikely that new features will be implemented in TeeChart for .NET v3.

Thanks for increasing the priority. The problem is that with the bug #[TF02014353] (missing subchart in PDF format), we already provided the beta to our customers and they like what they see, except for this bug. So, we can't step-back and remove this subchart feature. The only way we have is to update with the fix.

Is there anyway to expedite fixing this bug even if it means additional TChart support payment as we need it at ASAP basis?

Issue TF02014353 (SubChart not appearing in PDF exports) has been resolved for inclusion in the next maintenance release.
