Renko charts and non-linear date scale

Post by Snarkle » Thu Oct 27, 2011 5:47 am

Greetings,

Is there anyway to have dates in the Renko charts?

Now I understand that traditionally Renko Charts are time independant and often dont, but I have seen a few around that display dates in a non-linear fashion which would be very useful ..

Is there a way to have dates in the steema implementation of the Renko ??
I am seeing dates on my X (bottom) axis but they are not the dates I added to the Renko series, so whatever I am doing is not correct.

Hello Snarkle,

Seem Renko doesn't consider XValues at the moment that it is drawn, therefore values appear in the scale of your Bottom Axes doesn't correspond to XValues you have added in the series. So, I have added your request in wish-list with number (TF02015801) to be consider its inclusion in next maintenance releases of TeeChart.Net. Moreover, I recommend you to take a look in the Demo Project, concretely All Features\Welcome !\Chart styles\Financial\Renko, where explain how you use Series Renko and you can find a workaround using two axes and a Candle series at the moment.

Thanks,
