XE2 Update 3

I had one programmer in house apply the latest update for XE3 and said that TChart does not work with it.

Can anyone confirm?

Hi Ed,

TeeChart works fine with XE 2 + Update 4 (latest available) provided you compile current sources and install the packages with that update. We are currently working on the binary installers to support that update as well.

Any news on the update for the Binary Installers?

We've just taken on a new employee and are trying to workout whether its worth him contacting Embarcadero to see if he can get the Rad Studio XE2 Update 2 release so that he can work on our applications or wait for the new installer to be released? Currently he can only download Update 4 and is getting errors with the current binary installer.

Alternatively are you able to provide the corrected dcus so that we can get him up and running today?

If you don't have TeeChart Sources, I'd suggest you to download RAD Studio XE2 with Update 3

If you are a TeeChart Source Code customer, you can use TeeRecompile tool to recompile the sources and make TeeChart v2011.04 work with RAD XE2 Update 4.

We are working on a new maintenance release to provide binary versions supporting XE2 Update 4, and I hope we can publish it very soon, but I'm afraid I can't tell you when it will be possible.
