Access Violation in simple TeeChart test

Post by 401kPensionGuru » Sun Apr 22, 2012 5:23 pm

I’m getting an access violation….here is the calling code,and the unit is attached…
It’s bombing on the line:

IWChart2->Chart->View3DOptions->Elevation=600;//StrToInt(elevation->Text);

This code is in the Object Instantiation [initialization].

Hi,

You are using IntraWeb X and Rad 2010, right?
Could you please also confirm what TeeChart version are you using?
Is the problem also reproducible without Intraweb?

I downloaded TChartvcl 2012/cg2010 and installed and that problem went away.......I'm running IW XI and CG2010[c++]...but now I get an EEFACE everytime I start the IW browser icon....I also get the same EEFACE in one other app running TEEChart2012....also the pie chart being drawn isn't being drawn/filled in on the left side of the pie see attached...

Hi,

I've answered you here.
Please, continue the conversation there as this seems to be a different issue than the exposed in the first post in this thread.

Thanks Yeray, I believe we've identified the EEFACE problem as being IE9 related and hence would like you to concentrate on the second problem in my post, i.e. that the Pie chart is not being filled on the left hand side...I included a pic and its evident by inspection. The left side of the Pie chart looks like two discs and is not "filled" as the right side.
