Compilation of VCL under XE3

XE3 is officially avalaible. I've just bought it and tried to compile TeeChartPro for VCL manually, based on the project group without installing TeeChart Standard before with XE3. First in the inc file there are no corresponding definitions for XE3. I extended it. There are a lot of errors during opening the packages. (Class TButtonPen, TButtonColor etc. not defined...)
Did anybody tried it to manually compile and install TeeChart Pro?

Hi Lesley,

We've got to do a significant amount of changes for the Standard version to be shipped into XE3.
That's why I don't think it will be easy to make TeeChart v2012.06 (or any before) compile for XE3.
I'd suggest you to wait until we publish a Pro version (presumably v2012.07) supporting it.

Thanks for the fast answer. When do You plan to publish it? I assume, that the VCL part doesn't request such lot modifications. It's were usefull to publish separately for users using VCL, not FM.

I can't tell you a date for it, but we are working to achieve it as soon as possible.
I'm afraid we don't have plans to release any TeeChart VCL-only / not-FMX version at the moment.

Since you are a source code customer, if you don't want to wait, we could prepare an "experimental" source code installer for you.

Thanks for Your assistance! With a little modifications it (the compilation at least) works under XE3 for VCL:
1. These 2 files are to take from the official Juni version: VCLTee.TeeChartPro.pas and VCLTee.Bind.DBLinks.pas. Otherwise I get compilation errors.
2. I used the project file DclTeePro916.dpk. Here were 2 units to expand with the "prefix" VCLTee.

Could You check it?

Thanks for your feedback. We are getting some different errors here with our current sources as well. We had to work on the Standard version shipped with XE3 until the very last minute so the Pro version is still not ready yet.

I posted a new test source code installer at the same location. Sources now compile and install correctly in XE3. You may need to disable the "Tee 3D" checkbox.
