Tools not listed in chart editor

Tools not listed in chart editor

Several tools, including cursor and axis arrows (among others), don't show up in the TeeChart editor. I can add them programmatically but would rather not. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Gp,

Are you using an "old" TeeChart for .NET build version? If so you can download the latest build at our customer download area.

I installed TeeChart about two weeks ago. The Release.txt file says:

TeeChart.NET Version 1
Build 1.1.1769.19457

Hi Gp,

Are you using TeeChart in a WebForm or in a WinForm? In WebForms a number of tools are not implemented as the webchart’s events are limited to System.Web.UI.ImageClickEventArgs.

I simply right-click on my chart to bring up the edit dialog, select "Tools", then "Add" to open the chart tools gallery. Only Extra Legend, Color Band, Grid Band, Annotation and Page Number show up.

Hi,

hmmm, it's a strange behaviour, it works fine here. Does this happens also in the Demo Features project ? Could you please test it ? If so , which operating system are you using ?

Everything shows up using the demo feature. We are using WinXP professional.

I had previously installed the evaluation version - could that be messing things up?

Hi,

hmm... have you uninstalled the Eval version before to install the registered version ? If not, you should do it.
