Designflaw: Missing 'Cancel' button in chart editor

This is a big back draw the char editor is missing a cancel button and in addition it doesn't remember the last opened page!
Even closing the dialog with the windows close button [x] does not cancel input!!!!

please see the enclosed video with the following timecodes:

... Cancel Button missing eg at that place. So if you just browse around and accidentally click on a settings you have NO option to leave the dialog without changing anything

Lets say you look at the formats of the labels of the left axis and by chance have the wrong one selected (such things have happend with me a dozend times by now).
After browsing around a bit you have no other choice as to close the editor using either the 'Close'- button or the little 'x' in the upper right corner, anyway everything you have done is permanent.

Now the left axis labels are wrong and we left the editor with the bottom axis page on... but the editor opens with the 'Series' tab and now you have to guess where you did your last changes. You need to navigate through all the pages and select another format. Even though the labels on the left axis look the same the setting isn't the correct one as I couln'd remember what the original setting was (compare 00:14 against 00:42).

So if I had the option to cancel the editor dialog at 00:19 where it is clear, that axis labels are wrong or at least 00:26 nothing would have happend and the state of the component would have been unchanged. This also would greatly improve how one can play around with all the various settings without the danger of never be able to go back and undo experimental things.

We have looked several times at the possibility to put cancel and apply buttons on the Editor but there are some technical challenges, not immediately apparent, to overcome. We will use this feature request to revisit the question. For this reason, the wish have been added in the VCL TeeChart bugzilla tracker to consider its inclusion to upcoming versions of TeeChartVCL with number ID872. Remember, you could add your email account to the wish ticket to be notified automatically when an update.
