XE7: "DclTeePro921.bpl cannot be loaded" but yet it can

I'm puzzled. I installed the new 2014.12 release for XE7. Just the binary, no sources. It works like a charm.

However, when starting up RAD Studio, it states that

Package C:\Program Files (x86)\Steema Software\TeeChart 2014 for RAD XE7\Delphi21.win32\Bin\DclTeePro921.bpl could not be loaded.
Access violation at address 1A937FD9 in module 'bds.exe'. Reading of address 00000010.

This way, the package is disabled. The weird thing is that I easily go to "Components -> Install package" and just check "TeeChart Pro 2014 VCL Components" as if nothing happened. Everything works fine then.

I just don't understand why 2014.12 fails to be loaded when the IDE starts up. Any ideas? I have just tested this with 2014.12 + XE7. Should I also test installing it on XE5? Installing the source version on top of the binary? Any ideas?

I will install XE7+2014.12 on another machine today and let you know how this went...

Have you tried rebooting the system/closing&opening your session?
I find similar errors from time to time but fortunately they disappear rebooting the system. I'm not sure why they happen.

Thank you. For now, it looks like it was a false alarm and not related to TeeChart anyway.

I installed the IDE Fix Pack for XE7 and disabled the package cache.
Now an entirely different package resulted in the very same error, but TeeChart not anymore.
I rebuilt that very package and it looks like I'm fine now.
