CursorTool on Smith: horizontal and vertical line gone

Post by dimitrig » Mon Apr 19, 2010 3:17 pm

Hi,

I noticed that in the last version of TeeChart v3, the horizontal and vertical line of a cursor added on a smith chart, is no longer drawn. The only thing that is drawn on top of a smith series, is the scope (if you set the style to Scope or ScopeOnly).

You can easily reproduce this by just creating a form, add a TChart to this, add a Smith series, and then add a CursorTool. Nothing is drawn when you set the cursor style to Horizontal, Vertical and/or Both. When you set it to Scope or ScopeOnly, you only see the scope that is drawn. Probably you need to increase the scope size a little bit to make sure you see where it is in the Smith series.

Originally I thought that this would be the case in all circular series, but apparently a series like Polar does not have it. So I don't know if other series are also impacted, but for us this looks like a bug on a Smith series.

regards,

Sandra

Hello Dimitrig,

I could reproduce your problem and I have added it to bug report list with number [TF02014820]. We will try to fix for next versions of TeeChart .Net.

Thanks,
