Any form with TeeChart object takes 8-10 seconds to load
Strange issue that has been noted on 2 systems, both running Win XP SP3. Any form with a TeeChart v8.0.0.8 object on it takes about 10 seconds to get from the stage where the load is requested to the Form_Load event. Found a bizarre solution on each that turning off the WiFi adapter meant that the delay was no longer present. Any ideas as to why the WiFi adapter being turned on would cause a delay?

This is an old winforms app written in VB6 using the teechart OCX control so shouldn't have anything to do with MS checking of signatures, however you never know! Any chance of getting a copy of that unsigned OCX mentioned in the other thread as a test?
Are there any debug logs that can be enabled in the OCX that would help you track down where the pause is occurring?
