In the past i used vb6 and tchart 5 pro to make charts, loved it, still using it
I now want to use visual studio 2011 to make line charts
I have vs2010 installed and just purchased teechart.net the latest version.
I am not sure what i am doing wrong,
i start a normal window form application and add a tchart to it, and that works ok, the charts attaches t the firm and can use the editir to modify it. however i am new to the build process and when i do this i get errors.
not sure what to do here,
It appears I need a step by step walk through on getting the chart to talk vb. I have 12 years of using vb6 and tchart 5 so once i get over this first step i will be set
I have some ideas
the project type a choose could be a n issue
the version of teechart.et is incorrect perhaps the active x vertion would be easier.
not sure how to register the componets, i have tried using brows and clicking on the teechart.dll, with no luck.
I am looking foward in using this new chart , it a great product just a newbe at this .net process.
need help geting started
